This is the service known as the "Dutch Flyer". We will be using it to get home from our Copenhagen ->Berlin ride, after getting a sleeper from Berlin to Amsterdam. The integrated rail ticket in the UK only applies to trains run by East Anglian so will only get you part of the way home if you don't live in a region served by them. Not that this is a big problem.

If you want to use it one way from the Netherlands to the UK like we do, you have to book it, in Dutch, via the Dutch website. This is not difficult but they don't exactly advertise the fact.

I've visited Holland several times and Brugge twice, usually travelling by train and staying in hostels. I did hire a bike and ride along the canal to Sluis and the coast once.

What's camping like over there ? Is there a network of small sites similar to the French Camping Municipal ?

There are municipal camping sites; I don't know if there is a website dedicated to them. I've seen them (but not used them) in the bigger towns, cities and popular coastal areas. There are also minimalist sites in some natural areas that are free. Wild camping is illegal in Belgium.

I'm having trouble figuring out if I can bring a bicycle that I will have renting in Brussels, on a train to Amsterdam. We are then biking from Amsterdam back to Brussels (through Bruges).

1) Can we bring a bicycle on a train? (Which train?) & Do I absolutely need a bicycle bag?
2) Is there any place to rent a bicycle in Amsterdam, and drop it off in Bruges or Brussels?

Any help would be great! Thanks!
