Sounds great to me. I've not visited Newark before, but must've passed it on the A1 often enough over the years.

Re: togglechaintour bikes
I took my new handlebars for a spin out to Swindon today as it was 'alternative transport day' for my employer, Wincanton, and we happened to be out of the office on an IS away day.
I had the bottle dynamo engaged most of the time which made it a bit slower than I had hoped, but got there on time ok. I've decided I'm going to save up and get me a hub dynamo and (now I've said it I've got to do it, gulp) have a go at building me a front wheel around it.

Looking forward to it. In particular observing all the different forms of portable accommodation Graham will buy and sell on ebay before settling on another totally unsuitable dwelling

yes it strikes me as odd that there's grown men that aren't man enough to kip in a tent fot two nights
as for graham, he'll have a vw transporter soon, it's just what decade it is that we don't know - between 1980 & 2007 is my guess

Graham, don't take any notice of this lot on here, they're all mad . If you want any advice on accommodation just get in touch with me for a sound, sensible opinion.

Which weekend will TC3 be on? Return to school is a bit variable about the country. Hopefully Carolin will be able to come to but it depends on exactly which weekend is chosen.

Oh, I don't know - of course the sort of view you have from the upstairs bedroom window has a lot to do with it too!

That looks like a tent perched on a roof rack. Lord help you if you go out for a pee in the middle of the night

The good Lord has already helped in that regard - he kindly gave someone the idea of the Thermos flask - wide-mouthed of course
Anyone for a cuppa?
