OK, here they are. My beautiful bikes.
The newest is the Dawes Galaxy Twin tandem, purchased just a few months ago and we are still learning to ride it. The only changes made are that I put a pair of Shimano SDP pedals on the front cranks and something 'ordinary' on the back. The rear saddle is a soft ladies style. The panniers are by Altura. The front and rear cranks are now offset by 90degrees. The rear handgrips were replaced with something shaped for a more comfortable grip, otherwise everything is as it came. We are now planning to replace the rear handlebar with something that has a bit more curve to it, so that MrsD2B can sit upright.
The one in black is the Specialized Tricross Sport, coming on for 4 years old. Nothing changed. It carries my Karrimore panniers, which are really ancient, but still got lots of life in them. I bought this for winter/wet weather use. What I particularly liked about this bike was that the shape of the handlebar gives me a really comfortable posture.
The jewel in my collection is my Dynatech Strada 301, purchased about '93 or '94 and it was love at first sight. Titanium frame, goes like the wind. Completely refitted about 4 years back and sporting Shimano 105 kit. I did not think it was possible to put a 10-speed cassette on it, but I was wrong. This bike I use for fun and for summer/dry day commuting. The bracket on the front is for an Altura bar bag.

Hi Guys,
I brought this bike from CTC member 'Tel' a few months ago and really pleased with it,
after a few upgrades to make the bike look more like an original 'Motobecane Le Redoute Team Champion' bike.
You'll hardly ever see a bike like this in the UK because they were never destined to be sold on the UK market
so if you really wanted one now you'll have to pop over to France and search sheds and barns !

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......

Just got the wife's grandfather's bike back from Scotts' - epic work by Scotts'. Bike is 70+ years od, no idea of make but I think it was bespoke.

My self-built Bob Jackson. (Comfiest bike in the world, ever!)
55cm Audax Club 631 frame.
My recently aquired Scott Sportster, my winter/towpath bike.
For reasons I can't quite fathom this bike is really fast.
Old faithful old skool Scott Apache ridid mtb, rescued from a skip.
19" frame but feels on the small side for me.
My self-built Bob Jackson. (Comfiest bike in the world, ever!)
55cm Audax Club 631 frame.
My recently aquired Scott Sportster, my winter/towpath bike.
For reasons I can't quite fathom this bike is really fast.

Here are my two commuters.
First up is Claude Butler Urban 100 with upgrades. The summer bike.
Second is an 80's Townsend Montezooma, used as the winter/Ice bike. Using this from this week until February. Slow but indestructible. Marathon Studded tyres will go on it when it gets below 0c.
