GPS for bait bike?

Post by StolenBikes »

Hi All,

I've just purchased a cheap new bike after my own was stolen in Feburary and I'm looking for a GPS device to fit to it, was wondering if anyone has any experience with any.

In particular this one: http://www.integratedtrackers.com/GPSTrack/

I'm thinking I'm going to leave this locked up in my garden to see if my thief comes back (in Jan/Feb there was a spate of thefts in the yards of houses on my road). If he does there is a chance he will lead me to my Langster and if not a bike thief gets caught (win, win)

Thanks, John

Looks good - there is also a version in a rear light...
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

I'd be worried about the rear light, £80 for it and it can be removed really easily (meaning the bike would be lost)
