Cycle mag cover
Cycle mag cover
Nice cover pic this month. Girl looks like a "real" cyclist as opposed to a model (despite wearing a helmet). But! Does that undone saddlebag pocket not grate a bit? What is going to fall out very soon? Somebody should tell her.
Re: Cycle mag cover
Isn't she CJ's offspring, who features in the mag quite often doing bike tests and the like?
Re: Cycle mag cover
Not unless she is called 'Cara Coolbaugh' as it says in the mag. A pseudonym, perhaps? But I don't think it looks quite like young J.
Re: Cycle mag cover
It struck me that she's riding uphill across a field. Never an easy thing to do.

I didn't notice till you pointed it out... do you know the model of saddlebag as well?
And why can't someone be a model and a real cyclist? Whatever real means.

Re: Cycle mag cover
Is she a real cyclist. Page 4 of the link above shows her mending a puncture with the bike upside down. (See other post - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=70703 )
You'll never know if you don't try it.

Re: Cycle mag cover
Probably Carradice right enough. I always mend a puncture out on the road with the bike upside down! How else do you do it?

If you must, just make sure all the buckles are fastened. You don't want to loose anything

I think she's being PC ......proper cyclist
Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer.
Re: Cycle mag cover
No wonder she's had a puncture.cycleruk wrote:Is she a real cyclist. Page 4 of the link above shows her mending a puncture with the bike upside down. (See other post - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=70703 )
Riding across fields is stupid!

Isn't she Cass Gilbert's girl friend who has featured in many of his photos?
