Weather forecast

Post by 661-Pete »

I have the forecast for tomorrow here - strangely, the Met Office don't seem to have caught up yet...

Fortunately it's the shortest day tomorrow so shouldn't last too long. :?
Is it something to do with global warming?

It could be due to that. It's all the fault of those pesky motorists

But it's only in France so we should be safe providing the wind does not change direction.

If I were one of the Four Cyclists of the Apocalypse I wouldn't bother going out in weather like that. They must be made of sterner stuff.

If you really want to see what is going to happen tomorrow the link above will take you to the Mayan calendar although there is an alternative there. Unfortunately my IT skills don't allow me to paste the image so if someone else can do it you will be doing mankind a huge service and maybe stop some people from worrying although they may choose to not beleive the alternative source of iformation.

I'm not taking my Tommie Brodie helmet off untill the 22nd :(

Luckily, my frame is made of steel (melting point 1540°C) so should be OK. Bit worried about the alloy wheels etc. - and the tyres - though... :D
As long as the apocalypse happens after 8am, I should have an easy ride home, 'cos my route is mostly eastwards. In fact I expect to do it in record time... :)

Don't worry about being consumed by fire 'cos with the amount of water in and on the ground, you'll likely be boiled well before spontaneous combustion
