Parcel Force Processing

Post by Mick F »

Item JL0********GB arrived at South Western Distribution Centre on the 2014-04-07 and we are currently processing it.
Processing?
Why don't they speak English?

I don't want it "processing", I want it sorting in a sorting office, and delivering by a postman.

I've got one currently processing from the same supplier ;)

It does state delivery today on metatrack, so somebody isn't telling the truth!

"processing" sounds like cheese to me or peas perhaps.

It must be different areas because Parceforce are one of the best for delivering or collecting parcels from me. Citylink are the worst.
There is your way. There is my way. But there is no "the way".

We received item JL0********GB at Callington DO on the 2014-04-09. The item is now ready for delivery.
Postie normally arrives about now-ish (1pm to 2pm) so I may get it shortly! :D

I thought Parcel Force had their own delivery people/vehicles. Everything I get delivered from them comes different time/vehicle/delivery person (post early a.m., Parcel Farce normals p.m.). However, if you are not in they do leave the item for collection at local Post Office.

Parcel force do have their own vans and parcels are not delivered by Royal Mail. Parcel Force is usually a 24 or 48 hour option

Postie brings the small stuff with the normal deliveries here. Bigger stuff comes by big vans by Parcel Force - and as they can't get to us, we get a chitty to go and collect instead.

My (small) package arrived ok from Amazon by the postie in his little red van.

Or, does she mean the actual razor?

+1
The only good time I've had with CL is when the driver allegedly got back to the depot in 20 mins from my place which is a 30 minute rush hour drive. I said I had waited in all day, losing a days agency work and wasn't prepared to lose another days pay. 2 hours later at 19:00 a buzz on the intercom said it's CL with your delivery, a driver dropped the parcel in on his way home as he lived local.
