I hope that where he's gone he's been reunited with his beloved Elswick Tour Anglais - he said that bike meant more to him than any other he's owned. It was twice stolen but recovered only once.

a real 'star' I 'spoke' to him quite recently about casette compatability, a real loss.

this guy is a legend and his websites always so informative and amusing.
so rare to come across someone so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the world of cycling.
very sad to hear of his passing.
