Re: Pictures of your bike(s)
I built this up as a 30th birthday treat to myself. My other bike is a Surly LHT and I fancied something a bit zippier for day rides. It was a toss up between a Surly Cross Check or the All City Space Horse - the All City had a few nicer touches and the geometry was slightly better for me too. So far, so good.

Fantastic practical bike. Where did you get the frame?

Thanks- a proper bike is how I like to think of it. Takes front and rear racks and has clearance for 42mm tyres.
I got the frame from Triton Cycles.

Bike now with On-One 'Midge' bars. Probably the most comfortable I have ever used.

Nice. Been tempted a few times to try some of the On-One bars like the Midge, Mungo or Mary.

I have the Midge bars, my Collie is called Mungo (honestly), and I have an Aunt Mary! Do I win a prize?

Nice bike. Bar-end shifters and sensible tyres, a man after my own heart.

It might sound really pathetic (well it is rather pathetic) but when I was after a bike it was between Croix de Fer and Surley Disc/Long Haul Trucker and it was the Surley graphics that swung the choice (so I went for the Croix de Fer). And can't really think or an appropriate word to describe my giving such a small cosmetic consideration such prominence.
That said, I am very happy with my choice.

That's why there are lots of different bikes on the market...Because we all have different tastes..The Genesis is a good bike but i prefer the Surly(in green)..It also happens to be a good ride...I also fancy a Salsa Vaya and that will probably be my next purchase once i have enough funds and they change the colour from that bright Blue...

Here's mine........again!
I tried her out fully loaded today to see how she handled. A bit of power steering was noticed due to the weight up front and my estimates of 11mph avg speed through Wales are umm......optimistic. 5mph seems more likely, -3mph on hills.
