Roof Mounting Giro 20

FAO Aushiker. Hi there; I too am in the process of trying to get my Giro 20 on the roof. I see from the previous thread that you succeeded with the Thule Proride 951. Can you tell me if your Giro fitted on the track OK? Being a much longer wheelbase than a 'normal' bike seems a bit of a problem (amongst many). There are some good prices around at the moment for the Thule, but I would have to buy unseen and untried. Also did the clamp fit the main tube securely, as the angle it makes with the arm on the Thule would be different to the norm I would imagine. Thanks.

Took a chance and purchased one of these on spec. Extremely good price from car dealer on the web (not ebay). My Giro 20 fits perfectly and I am very happy with it. I think it is just lucky that this particular bent fits the rack, and I would have doubts about the suitability of any other to fit. Best to try first.
