BBC Shock

Post by TonyR »

The notoriously pro-helmet BBC has a piece by Wiggo on 7 tips for winter cycling. Apart from one picture of him racing, none of the cyclists pictured riding, including in snow, is wearing a helmet. Woolly hats feature instead. Is this a "mistake" by the BBC or a new enlightenment?

...from a recent Graun article (http://www.theguardian.com/environment/bike-blog/2015/dec/29/on-yer-bike-a-brief-history-of-cycling-politicians)

Since BW has been a noted quipper in favour of compulsory helmets before now, one lives in hope that his recent chats with Chris Boardman went further than breaking the Hour Record and imparted a bit of Clue on matters lid.
