I have noticed a big increase in adverts on TV by solicitors, is this due to a downturn in the housing market?

It means there's a corpse somewhere and they're circling, waiting!

Today is supposed to be the most depressing of the year - more relationships split, post Christmas blues and all that. Maybe the lawyers are preempting the misery market?

I thought they perpetuated it, along with estate agents, developers and venture capitalists.
