HOT salt water bath. As hot as you can stand it to help flush the pores. then something like savlon cream covered by a large waterproof plaster to prevent recurring infection. Finally one of those fiddly gel plasters that have to stay on for a week to prevent irritating scabs forming.

I have a repeat offender that I treat with a triple antibiotic cream bought in the US (you can get it via Amazon for about a fiver). I have had some success using Sudocrem as a preventative as well.
