... what's it called?
'knackered', thats what it is called.
SJS have lots of cat-eye parts but they don't have that.
It might be that some kind of adaptation could be made with a rubber band to stop the light from sliding out of the bracket?
cheers

Reviving this thread - the bolt on my 5445330 clip came unscrewed and dumped my Volt 700 light in the road this week. That's the flat-headed Allen bolt in the photo in the original post. Anyone know where I can get one? At least one source said that the bolt doesn't come with a new clip if I order one of those, and I definitely don't need two clips with missing bolts. Or anyone have a broken lamp to cannibalise?

Lots of flat head hex screws available on line. Do you know the size required?

Looking at pictures of the bracket sold online, such as in the link below, I'm guessing it comes supplied without that thin flat head screw:-

I guess you could try contacting the seller to check if it comes with the screw, or if they sell it, or know it's dimensions.
Alternatively if you can measure the dimensions yourself, there are thin/ultra thin/wafer thin flat head screws available. This randomly-found example on ebay has a chart with examples of dimensions you can compare against.

NB I haven't bought from that seller so it's not a recommendation. There may be better sellers available.

IIRC cat-eye commonly use M4x0.7 mm threaded stainless machine screws to hold everything together. LBSs sometimes keep a box full of cateye brackets; they are often handy. If you are short of a screw, then I think a bog-standard pan head screw will fit, but nor is it very difficult to SG a screw and make it fit, either. Normally such screws are designed to be partially captive ie. whilst the light is in the bracket, the screw cannot fall out and be lost. If you can't find a screw you like the look of, it is often possible to cut down the screw from the band and use that. Replacing the screw in the band is usually easier, because the screw head can poke out if it needs to. A little loctite (or similar) it isn't a bad idea.

Thanks all for some helpful comments. I've ordered some M3*4mm bolts with 0.5mm pitch from Sum's eBay link. I managed to track down a bolt that fits, but has the wrong head and length, and that made measuring size and pitch much easier.
