Who's got my Mojo?

Post by Mythical »

Do you think I could have left it on my other bike when it got pinched? and
Is there someone going round with a massive JCB moving cities and towns and especially hills about??

I swear, Kenilworth was alot closer to Coventry last time I cycled there. And Coventry is much much closer to Kenilworth than Kenilworth is to Coventry! And I swear the hill between them has got bigger and steeper!
and why can't I ride with no hands anymore? (not that that's something I do regularly) or up stairs? or down stairs? Why do I now chicken out of cycling when it's raining because I'm afraid I might get dead? I can't trackstand anymore! and I can't just ride and ride without having to walk or gasp for air. :( 35 miles on a weekend ride.....I'd be lucky to get 3.5 now!!

Seriously, I left my bike at home in October, then brought it here and lost it completely, and got a new one at christmas - Didn't ride any other bikes in between. So I haven't ridden a bike for 3 months and I feel like I'm starting all over again! Is this Normal? How long do I have to Suffer this for? Is it the bike? I was sure it was the same as the old one, except it weighs about half as much. (and I couldn't find a bike shop to sell me a deathtrap, so I had to settle for something different!)

I saw a Mojo for sale on fleabay a few days ago, could that be yours?

At least you once had command of all the issues you're having problems with, as a relatively recent re-convert to pedal power (brief attempts in the 70's and 80's) I'm still working on them!

It'll all come flooding back to you soon enough (like last nights kebab ;) )

Nil desperandum and all that :D

This:-Every silver lining has a cloud - Usually primed to burst right on your head, and the avatar have led me to believe you are an optimystic. The mysterious Wigan orientation could also have a lot to do with it too.
So.
The pain will remain, though the lungs will grow used Grasshopper, then all will be pleasent in the garden when one reaches into the rythmn, when the unnatural becomes natural, the rain becomes a friend and pain and gasps are mere aquantences to be nodded to as a old man on the corner of King St.
At that point hills will be levelled, potholes filled ,bad motorists will pale into insignificance or in the summer months a fly or insect in the eye on a descent will be welcomed as an old friend.
when these things come to pass Grasshopper it will indicate the coming of true enlightenment, and Kenilworth, steep, hill,Wigan, mojo,Mobo, near and far, with or without (hands)will merge into the cosmos indeed life itself will flow within and with out(mojo)do, and it will be.
So palms together, take a low bow and proceed, though, flow.
Pass this way again Grasshopper when in need of further instruction.
