I had this problem years ago, In the end I opted for a Mavic sealed BB that screwed into itself (its sleeve if I remember correctly) rather than the frame. It lasted 20+ years, I don't think Mavic make BBs but I'm sure the idea hasn't gone away and someone should know another brand that make BBs this way.
