Any info on battery powered bicycles / mopeds?

Post by another_dave_b »

I'm interested in getting a battery powered bicycle or moped.

Can anyone give me any info on brands/models to look at?

Try http://www.50cycles.com/. The eZee Torq had a good review in Cyling Plus.

if you want a quality electric bike at a reasonable cost its best to buy a kit and put it on your current bike because most of the "off the shelf" bikes are crap or expensive. try http://www.armybikes.com/electricbikes.htm its best to just phone them 01329830117.

thats where i got my kit from and its really good. 1 year warranty is good too. if you still want "off the shelf" bike then ebikes-direct is where i got mine from. they are good too, least likely to rip you off.
