I have just learned that a cycling chum of mine from about a quarter of a century ago, and with whom I've lost touch, now runs a bike shop in Rochdale, jointly with his partner.

My chum's name is Nigel Bishop - a cycling celebrity whose name a lot of people may remember - and his partner is even more of a cycling celebrity. I will not give her name, because without being sure of my information (and therefore my facts) I could be in danger of taking a lady's name in vain.

Can anyone out there recognise the description, and give me some information? - i.e. shop name and location?

Meh, Rochdale, Oldham. My Dad used to live in one of them, I still don't know which one it was to this day. He's been gone ten years!
