Hello

I have a pre-Ultra Torque 10 speed Campagnolo Chrous front mech that I am using quite happily with an Ultra Torque 53-39 Record chainset.

However, I am going to visit some hills and am thinking of fitting an Ultra Torque compact chainset - probably 50-34.

Does anyone know if the front mech that I am using will work OK? I don't have the compact chainset yet so I'm doing a bit of dead reckoning but can't be sure.

Did those FD's come in 'standard' and 'compact/CT' flavours?

Suggest you ask on Weight Weenies forum for people who might have tried this.
