I didn't stay long enough to see if she got challenged by security. Perhaps she could have tried to explain it away as a designer pushchair

.
I managed that once. "this is not a bicycle, this a baby buggy".

Did they elaborate on what risk it causes, or how they accommodate similarly sized wheelchairs without them either exploding or stealing payroll? What about the cars parked outside that could conceal a tonne of explosive?
I remember Exeter Station removing bikes from teh front of the station as a "terrorist risk" yet allowing cars to park even closer
Then to compound the stupidity, took the "suspect bikes" into the ticket office where (if they were IEDs would increase the damage they caused

Common sense does prevail sometimes. Rode my lecci bike into local Tesco when I first had it (recovering from very serious accident, with crutches on carrier)
Approached by manager, who, when I explained that it was effectively the same as an electric scooter, was great, and said, no problem, and did I need any help? Even opened another till for me when I had finished.
Emailed head office to thank them, apparently had caused great merriment with the staff.

Many years back now, but we were stopped entering a French supermarket as our 2 and 4 year olds were wearing helmets - on grounds of 'security'.
I've never trusted my kids again
