Long Term Bike Storage - Maintenance

So, having been the proud owner of two bikes for around a year now i've found an unexpected downside.

My shiny expensive road bike has now spent the last 8 months sitting in the garage untouched other than two charity rides while my more versatile hybrid is pretty much my bike of choice for anything under 50 miles.

The garage is dry and I've made sure the chain is lubed up but's that's about the extent of it for the road bike. Given it's probably only likely to be coming out half a dozen times a year now is there anything else I should be doing to stop it going to ruin? If so, how often should I be doing it?

i'd tend to give the frame a coat of something like ACF50 (inside), car polish, GT85 or similar (outside.)

i'd also ensure that the pedal threads are given a coat of copperslip and the seatpost too. GT85 on hub ends, cable mounts, cables, pedals.

keep the tyres reasonably inflated and maybe rotate the wheels (if it stands on them) once every so often.
