That is a pretty cheap thing to say. I take it you've not experienced an epileptic fit before.
How can you take the moral high ground, if you then stoop to her level, with respect to comments of your own?

I got the impression Pete was saying, 'Be a little more tolerant as she has been ill.' I think you may have taken it the wrong way. People are a lot more accepting of mental illness these days....b

Upper class? No way! Thatcher class.
Let me pay my respects to her tho. She's made a niche for herself, and a good earner. Say controversial things, get publicity,it sells the rags. In my Equinimity Hat you can understand it all: The papers have to sell the stuff,no sell,no job. The editor says go out and get the story. Pup reporter comes back to say there is no story. Editor says to pup reporter, well collect your hat and coat on the way out. If it aint out there, make it up.
You can see all this in a little more refined way on R4. Somedays there aint any news,so they go round the dustbins of the country bigging up minutiae. Who would want to lose out on £425,000+ pa? Nice work if you can get it!

Precisely. But I don't take lessons on morals from one "Freddie" of this parish...
And for the record, yes I did use to know someone who suffered from epilepsy (she's since died). Not pleasant. I would not wish that on anyone, however much I detest them. If KH has had her condition alleviated by the surgery, good luck to her. That's all.

Oh, my mistake. Seeing as she has not recently done an about turn on her views, I wrongly assumed it was some kind of backhanded remark. Sorry about that.
