Having a cup of tea and a hobnob to celebrate!

Al

Who knows? I'd hold on to your Hobnobs for now (in fact I'd check the use by date)

Just heard Chrispin Blunt (Blunt?), who is a prominent leaver I think, state on BBC's PM that we should, "start to see the benefit of Brexit in a decade"!

Too late for me then. :(

You couldn't make it up.

So, a Chinese drink and a Turkish-owned biscuit?

Don't celebrate too early, though. Based on previous form, the cabinet will probably reissue the Chequers proposal...

Chequers, draughts, is that a game of skill or of luck? :?

No one knows what the world will look like in 50 years. Climate change alone is forecast to have profound implications.

How can the man defend that position based upon such uncertainty?

Both - so May is screwed either way.

Just got back from the Brexit celebration at the pub, excellent evening! Lots of jolity… Probably only the beginning of the end… mustnt get too excited.

That pub hasn't seen such optimism since they were told that the capture of Saddam Hussein would bring peace to the Middle East.

Morton's Fork.
That such celebration was held when they don't actually know what they've got speaks buckets for such folk.
It's obviously not about gaining anything but simply leaving regardless of what that means.

And leavers try to convince us that they've actually thought this through?
(Not that al's posts have ever convinced me of that, he just posts anything he thinks backs up his position and then goes quiet when it's pulled to pieces.)

Ideally to have a third referendum and remain because I think 2016 was a protest vote not only about EU membership, but I'd settle for a vote on the deal with an option to withdraw A50, with the boards and any lying spokespeople of the 2016 campaigns (definitely Vote Leave and Leave.EU, but possibly some of Stronger In too) imprisoned for corrupt electoral practices during the campaign at least.

This remainer wants to stay in the EU and make efforts to change it for the better from within, that said it's not doing such a bad job presently all things considered.

Could I ask why you want to leave exactly?
