Hi There, I was Wondering if any one could help
us? My brother and i are cycling to the
furthest point of east Russia(Magadan) from
the UK(Scotland) in feb 2007, We are
sponsoring UNICEF, We are going to visit 2 of
there offices in ukraine and mongoliato see
what they do for the children. We will travel
through 9 countries in total and a few of
them are some remote places, i.e. Kazakstan,
Mongolia and Eastern Russia. We were
wondering if it would be possible to have
some helpsponsorshipinfo for our journey. We
have our mountainbikes and some equipment for
camping etc but we still have a lot to get,we
will have to upgrade parts of our bike to
withstand the journey and get panniers etc.
Any help, if possible would be greatly
apeciated.

It sounds very much as if you want to go down the Old Silk Road striking across to reach it from Kiev.
Is that right? One of the greatest journeys a cyclist could possibly make.

Sounds amazing! How far is the trip in total? And how far do you plan to travel each day?

Hi there Adam, It nearly just over 7000 miles, Should take us upto a year or so. We are hoping to do between 70-100 miles a day but when we hit eastern europe and beyond it will be far less!
