The price of disposable razors

I can't help wondering if this is a rerun of Tesco's "price of Marmite" contrived scandal/ marketing ploy.

Tesco cuts women's razor prices to end ‘sexist pricing’

I had assumed that disposable razors were mostly unisex, but that girlie pink ones etc were available for anybody who liked that kind of thing. :?

What am I missing?

Wish someone would reduce the price of men's suits to those that women pay.

I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my wobbly bog brush using hovercraft full of eels

Do you think the price of these and £20 for 8 replacement razor blades is why we have seen a proliferation of bearded men in recent years.

sincere political statements rarely find themselves manifested in supermarket pricing policy. file next to v for vendetta tax on protests.

still, see how the other retailers feel about patriarchy and glass ceilings before making your purchases.

reminds me of this :)

Why do women need to buy razors of any colour?

They have no need to shave.

Some men appear to know little about women and understand even less.

No doubt you're looking for an argument over the word 'need'. OK no ones needs to shave but a lot of people of either gender like doing it.

Either gender?

Gender is a spectrum.

Well I've just learned a life lesson. Thanks for sharing your deep wisdom.

if gender is fluid, then the 'need' to remove body hair is dependent on however the individual chooses to identify themselves in regards to society's expectations, which should have been thrown in the bin the minute somebody mentioned gender fluidity.

i love this argument, i'm very much for it, but when argued, the notion of gender fluidity is often too dependent on the social norms that are claimed to be obsolete.

best hijack ever

On a very rare occasion I have to wholeheartedly agree with you. If I change that to 'people of either biological sex like doing it' I hope that finds favour.
