Just trying to get some background information and having trouble finding it so anyone have an idea of typical wind direction in central Europe June-July. I'm talking about Slovenia, Hungry, Slovakia, Poland, neck of the woods.

Prevalling winds in central europe

It's HungAry, by the way.
The winds here in Budapest are generally pretty light and are westerlies, though nothing like as strong as UK winds - in general. We are protected by the Carpathians, so don't witness too many extreme wind conditions.
I'd be more inclined to look at temperatures at that time of year. I did a tour in Austria in July in 40C+ last year & it wasn't fun at times.

It's a very large "neck" you propose to look at, and I think you are asking much too wide a question. Clearly there will be no "typical" wind direction shared between Slovenia and Poland and places in between...there are several mountain ranges scattered around, to complicate matters, as well as a considerable difference in latitude(or is it longtitude - I never can remember. North and South, anyway).
I agree with ThomasDylan that you would be wise to look at temperatures, rather her than focusing merely on wind. There will be a great difference between what you might reasonably expect to enjoy on the Baltic coast, to what you might find on the Adriatic. There are huge differences in altitude, too, which will affect temperature. You might be above the snow-line one hour and in sub-tropical temperatures the next in the microclimate of a sheltered valley or bay.
