Replacing suspension forks

Ive got a Voodoo Hoodo MTB and I want to swap the suspension forks for solid (preferably steel) disc compatible forks - does anyone know if this is doable?

Yes you can as long as you keep the same axle-to-crown length, so to not alter the geometry in a significant way (also, put into accounts the amount of sag you were keeping on the suspension forks).
Check the wheel size, and look around, usually Salsa/On One/Surly come to help in those things.
