cycle rack for a mini convertible?

Post by Dave W »

Lady friend has been quoted £600 from BMW for a rack to fit one of these cars. Bit of googling and it looks like it could be done with a small universal carrier with ultra short straps hooked over the boot lid. Anyone done it, or does anyone know of a supplier of those really simple racks that came out years ago for tailgates, ninety degree bends and very compact? I chucked one away years ago!

Stick the relevant details into the search box at Halfords: http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-ra ... bike-racks

Assuming you get some results, research those models further and check site small-print before purchase.

Try the Saris web site to see if they have one that will fit www.saris.com
