I think you'd have to upload it to some shareable online storage (such as Google Drive) & then share a link to the file. Alternatively upload it to a route site that lets you upload (or recreate it online) & share the route from there.
AFAIK you can only directly upload images via the "Attachments" tab below the post editor.

No, you can't load anything other than photographs, albeit in a variety of formats. PDFs don't work, but if you want a document, you can screenshot it and upload it as a picture.

If the route is on such as RIDEwithGPS then there is an option to download a TCX file (etc) from there.
Whether you can upload a TCX to RIDE or Plotaroute I don't know.
Once the route is on RIDE etc' then you can give a link and share it from there. You have to make it "public" though to share it.
Note though if you delete the file from the plotter then it is lost to future sharing.
