One of my LBSs has a 2017 Genesis Longitude for £789 and I’m sorely tempted. It comes with 27.5 x 2.8”. If I changed the wheels and tyres to 29ers, would I be able to fit full length mudguards? I know it doesn’t have a seat stay mudguard bridge or a connection behind the BB. I would like to do it up a bit like reohn’s. I currently have a Tour de Fer and its only fault, for me, is tyre clearance. But that's my fault; I knew that when I bought it. I’ve fancied a Longitude for a while as a n=1, and after reading about it in this month’s Cycle, it has reawakened my interest.
