I have her covering 128 mile from 23:48 until 07:36 (av 16.4mph) so has she even stopped for any sort of rest?

also - what was her offcial start time? I have just went off the waypoints on the tracking map and guessed at 07:45
I thought it was 8am, odd to get away earlier??

Yes SPOT seems very hit and miss. She got through Carlisle centre with an 14mph avg the traffic lights must have been good to her :D
Thankfully it’s stopped raining up here and not too cold to stand on the summit. The wind is very much in her favour. Mike Broadwith stopped at the bottom of the climb for a wee rest and change into dry clothing while I froze on the top waiting.

As another Truss wrote "Eats shoots and leaves."

Fingers crossed for continuing favourable wind.

Yes the graph is usually produced by Mike @24hourmaths on Tw. As he is away for TCR a couple of volunteers are producing it.
As I type she is past her stopping point from last effort so that’s good.
Mike thinks it’s on target for just over 450mls at 24 hours.

Oh and yes there is a vehicle behind with a RRA official within. I’ll be out later as she passes probably on Beattock summit if the rain stops.

I think it was 8am now. the tracker at LE that I had originally looked at LE said 07:44:30, and the first one up the road said 08:13 so I guessed at 7:45. I find out the official start time was 8

She seems to have slowed down a touch since shap, only averaging about 16.7

wind looks good for her until early Monday, she could have the last section straight into a northerly.

NO, the various stages from shap summit up to ecalfeckin, all much slower than yesterdays pace, I guess shes just had a short spell recovering from the big climb up shap - her speed seems to be picking up again.

She was looking good and time to speak. :D
From the Moffat roundabout I had a 14 ml start on her and didn’t have long to wait on the summit.
Occasionally the wind swings a little into the north but mostly west here presently.

Minutes after my last post the rain started and the wind dropped. Lasted 15 minutes and it’s then blowing a fresh SW again. A lot of time in hand.

What would be interesting (and I don’t know if it’s possible) would be a tracker comparing her live data with Christina Mackenzie‘s track.
