I would like a little bit more help when climbing hills so , I have a Ridgeback Voyager with an 8 speed 11/32 cassette and also a Cannondale Synapse 10 speed 11/32 cassette. I want to change both bike cassettes for an 8x 11/34 and a 10 x 11/34.Is that possible and if so what do i need to buy and fit ?. Any info ,tips i would be most grateful. Thanks T.

32 to 34 teeth is only about a 6% difference.
Have a look at the % difference between bottom gear and the next gear to it, and see if you think its worth making the change.

You just need to buy and fit the new cassette.
Unless the old cassette has seen very little use, you'll need a new chain as well, which may need to be 1 pair of links longer than the old (actually needs to be 1/2" longer, but you can only change chain length of 1" increments, so it depends how close the old chain was to the limit).
If you DIY, you'll need a cassette lockring remover, 12" (approx) adjustable to work it with, and a chainwhip to stop the cassette spinning on the freewheel.

I believe the Voyage came with a 48/38/28 chainset, in which case it's also possible to fit smaller chainrings - eg 46/36/24, which will make more difference than the 34T cassette.
The small chainring on the Synapse is already as small as will fit the chainset
