Anyone here do much Cyclocross?

I've got a holdsworth criterium (531 tubing)road bike which I dont use much, also have a Specialized Rockhopper (no suspension). But was thinking of converting the Holdsworth to Cyclocross. Can it be done What would I need to do? Would the result be much different from the rockhopper? All advice gratefully received.

Buy the current issue of Cycling Plus magazine. There is an article on converting an MTB frame to suit cyclocross. The Holdsworth frame won't have anywhere near enough clearance for the cyclocross tyres.
