I need some of those black plastic discs that fit on the back rack onto which the back of the pannier slides and holds it in place (sorry, I don’t know the technical term). My panniers are Karrimor and about 12 years old. I suspect these discs are unique to Karrimor, who are now no longer in business. I bought some from Wiggle about 4-5 years ago, but they no longer stock them. Does anyone know where I might be able to get two?

....or suggest alternative fixing ideas

They used to sell Karrimor bag spares and might be able to help. They specialise in outdoor equipment repairs.

I assume Cyclewala link a couple of posts up is the same company and that link works, though I'm surprised they still have any Karrimor spares.

Me too. God knows how long since sold. Easiest way to get some would be by buying some aged panniers I think. They turn up here now and again.

I have a pair of Karrimor iberian panniers with the multi slot backing I found the disc too much trouble to swap over. I have adapted some Ortlieb anti sway arms to fit the slots by filing the plastic mounts to fit. I have also used the Ortlieb pannier mounts and anti sway fittings on my 2 Karrimor mountain panniers
