I've been advised I have a pair of Bakers cysts at the rear of my knees - has anyone any experience of trying to get rid of them?

I'm trying to stop them developing further even though the doctor said one was well defined

Any tips?

Does this NHS link help at all? What to do seems to depend on what has caused them.
