FS: Trek Super Commuter 9+ ebike55

Postby Denis99 » 11 Aug 2018, 11:32pm

Selling my immaculate Trek Super Commuter 9+ ebike.

10 months old, 1,700 miles.

This is the more expensive version with the super NuVinci hub drive.

I have put a link to the Trek website for all the details.

Could include a second spare Bosch 500w battery by negotiation.
Bike is the 55cm version.

https://www.trekbikes.com/gb/en_GB/bike ... 9/p/17127/

£2500 , not including the spare battery.

It’s a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery.

It stores the energy from the solar panels , means we can harness the energy produced from the panels and use it , rather than exporting to the grid.

Handy if you have an EV car, which we do.

Powerwall 2 is about £5-6k.

Very nice pieces of kit.
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Yes, around £5k.

But you still get to keep the feed in tariff without exporting to the grid.

So the cost of the PW2 has to be offset against you buying less electricity from the grid, whilst maintaining the feed in tariff payments.

If you run a EV car , or any power hungry devices, then it is worth it.

Anyone interested in the bike?

Re: FS: Trek Super Commuter 9+ ebike55 price lowered

I need to sell the bike, so I have lowered the price to £2000.

Does not include the spare battery.

The price is exactly half of what the new bike costs.

Could you post an approximate location of the bike, say withing x miles of a town or something similar to give us an idea. Thanks
