Albert....
Albert....
I cant find him.
Albert is my cat. He is on my wee pic that I use on here. He was last put out side yesterday and hes not been about since.
Hoping nothing bad has happened to him. He is a reformed feral cat, so Chas reckons the mice are more fun than I am right now.

I'm sure Albert knows what he's doing, but that doesn't help you come to terms with his wanderings.
Has he done this before?
We had a ginger tom called Fizzy. He had wander lust. He'd go missing for days, then wander in as though the world belonged to him and wonder what all the fuss was about.

We had a ginger tomcat (Marmy) who went missing, after five months we gave up on him and MrsR2 got two kittens (brothers) from the Cat Protection League. One month later in comes Marmy through the cat flap as if he'd just popped out for a pee and battered the poor kittens unmercifully to show them who was boss.
About four months later he went missing never to be seen again,he was 12 years old.
One of the kittens Leo lived to be fifteen, his brother Percy became a road casualty within the 18 months.
To replace Percy we got a black tom (Jet) who was the nicest cat I've ever known with not a bad bone in his body,Jet and Leo got on famously.
He also lived to be fifteen and died last year,I still miss him.
Albert knows which side his bread is butter on,he'll be back.

Thanks all....
No sign of him yet. Had a good shout for him and found a dead lamb while out looking, but no a bit big for Alberts size although he does take on dogs!
Im sure as he is a well fed boy now and not the skeletal sick cat I took in last March, that he is just having a go at the survival thingy he used to be good at until cat flu caught up with him.
Neighbours are building a thunderbox and Ive asked them to look out for a nosy Albert.
Sue wont be pleased that Albert is on tour, as she breeds rabbits and has them lose in her large garden.
Ill update if or when the lad shows up, just hope he does now... Mind you he no longer is bothering the lady cats since we had him fixed!

MC, I do hope Albert returns soon safe and well.
Our cat was a very charming lady this morning, not! She bopped our aged, gorgeous KC Cavalier in the eye because they both wanted to sit on 'Mummy's' knee. Poor Chippy is already blind in the other eye, possibly also the cat's fault, and we are so worried that she has damaged it. We don't feel too good towards our cat at the moment.

Greebo went walkabout for 2 days in February.... i couldn't sleep for worry... almost wept when he returned
I didn't mind him adding to the cat gene pool; but he was fixed mainly so that my curtains didn't smell of au' d Greebo.
