Front Fork Wobble?

I've a 653 framed Bob Jackson which seem s to have developed a proneness to wobbling (at front forks).
It just feels unsteady theres no obvious sign is there anything I can look for which might indicate one way or the other?
Thanks in advance

if it mainly occurs at one speed it could be shimmy. This can arise if you change the loading on a bike and/or its stiffness, so a bag on the back can turn a nice stable bike into a wobbler. Other things like wheels, tyres, cracks in the frame (anywhere), the road surface etc can all make a difference too.
Ask yourself what might have changed from before, when (presumably) it didn't wobble. Check everything that should be tight is tight, and everything that should move moves freely, and that there are no cracks in anything.
cheers

As it's a Jackson it would have been built properly (not always the case with some other volume producers) but it wouldnt be the first 653 frame that I have heard of that has cracked.

All the above +
Headset bearing wear? (Notchy)
Wheel bearing wear? (Loose)
Wheel balance?
Unusual tyre wear?
Tyre pressure?

It seems to occur more when leaning left, its not the loading or tyre pressure-I'm goin g to get a local bike shop to have a look at the frame-I'm wondering if its related to the headset......
