I should have made clear - I am not claiming that my setup is better than anyone elses, just that it suits me and I like it.
YMMV :D

Excellent!

I could manage with a 1X but I'd need a Sturmey Archer too.
They make one that'll take a 10sp cassette, so a single 10sp with one of those would work well.

I suppose they designed these to take the place of a triple chainset.

Interesting idea, but if I were ever to get a IHG I would more likely get a Alfine 11

Ok, I can agree with that, but what the SA offers is your existing setup with an expansion.
Fit a 10sp cassette and you can have loads of gears as wide as you want.

Can you get the range and number of gears you want with an Alfine 11?

Alfine 11 gives what in top gear with a bottom of 20"?
About 80" I think.

Rohloff would be better.
Bottom gear 20" with a top of 100" (or thereabouts)
Trouble is, it costs a grand!

Sturmey Archer will cost only £100 and you can use your existing setup.

Give me 20" to 110" and I'm happy.
Just say a 40t ring.
I'd need a 50t big cog down to 10t small.

I pedal up to around 30 mph on a 95" gear (When I can be bothered) just how fast do you go on that 110"?

No faster than you, but I couldn't do 25mph in only a 95" gear.
That's nearly 90rpm cadence. Far too high a cadence for me and I couldn't do it.

Mercian top gear is 53/12 = 115" would be 73rpm at 25mph.
Long term average cadence for me is 67rpm.
