Famous Sportspeople who cycle

I'm writing a short article and would like to illustrate it with examples of well known sports people who cycle - particularly those who have done so in a very public manner. Obviously professional cyclists excluded.
Some that I have thought of already:
Martin Johnson (took part in race at Revolution 2008)
James Cracknell and Alan Shearer (sports relief rides)
Alain Prost (Cyclosportive regular)
Gavin Hastings (I think he is or was a regular triathlete after retiring for rugby - anyone know if this is true ?)
???? - speedway star, featured in Cycle recently - anyone know his name, I was too enthusiastic with the recycling.
Max Mosely - FIA president
Who else ?

Not sports people as such but Tracey Emin, comedian Rob Newman and entrepeneur John Caudwell are cyclists. Caudwell used to visit his mobile phone shops on his bike. Don't know if you mentioned former England and Crystal Palace player Geoff Thomas who rode the Tour de France route in aid of Leukemia research I think. One or two runners took up cycling after there runnings days were over such as Steve Ovett and Peter Elliot both who were Olympic medalists at 800 meters. Elliot often trained with pro rider Malcom Elliot. We all of a certain age remember Kevin Keegan riding in Superstars and falling off and badly grazing himself on a cinder track. Don't know if Kev was and is a regular bike rider.

I'm sure I saw that Ian Wright (incredibly serious football pundit) took part in the Greenwich to Canterbury 'tour de France' ride last year. I might have dreamt that though...
