Children’s sleeping bags

Post by honesty »

My daughter has one of the vango bags which is a reasonable weight and pack size and only cost 30 quid, but it’s only rated down to 8 degrees. She’s about 130cm tall so has another 20cm on recommended length on this bag. Any suggestions for decent, warm, 3 season kids bags, or just get a small adults and suck up the price hike?

I don't have a particular suggestion, but if you do get a big one on a "she'll grow in to it" basis then tying off the bottom with a belt should make it slightly more efficient at keeping in the heat.

Our daughter's just about to grow out of this one (may already have done so at approaching 140cms)

Very cheap for what it is.
