Hi all,
I'm 6'6' and weigh 16 stones and I'm looking for a large enough framed bike for my 33' inside leg measurement ! can anyone suggest a suitable model/make and a supplier ? I'm near Dudley , the online shops I've been looking at don't tend to cater for people of my size !
I intend to use the bike purely on the road for commuting and general road riding , to rehabilitate my recent broken leg .

You don't mention a price range but anyway........ From your inside leg measurement I would have thought a frame size of 23' ( 59cm )would be about right. I can personally recommend the Dawes Galaxy as it would make an excellent 'all rounder' for you as far as commmuting and pleasure riding / touring goes. I bought one in 1988 and its still going strong.

l'm 6' 6" and 17 stone.

l have a 1997 Raleigh Randonneur, 64cm frame but still need handlebar riser stems to improve riding comfort.

l think you should approach some of the frame builders for advice.

I'm 6'4" and have a 34" inside trouser leg, I find a Dawes Galaxy with a 25 1/4" frame OK.

You need low gearing. Avoid the Raleigh Aveo as it has gearing WAY too high and will be a very harsh ride with it's steep frame angles.
