There are lynx in Norway. I've never seen anything but footprints, except in zoos.

I've seen one in the Tatra mountains.

Depends where you live - about 1200 miles for me but for someone living in Zakopane very close to home. There's also bear and wolves in the Tatras but I didn't see any of them.

There's Norway I'd walk that far - but perhaps a Lynx would be up for it.
