I've wondered for sometime why anyone would want Trump as their president, the man is a full on fascist a thoroughly disgusting human being who should have no place in power, and the GOP have a lot to answer for allowing that to happen.
Then the penny dropped,it's simple, enough US citizens actually like fascism and to have a fascist such as him as their leader, much as enough Germans did in the 1930s.
Worryingly they like the idea of division, civil unrest, the othering of,coloured,GAY,Trans, etc people of the "wrong" religion who don't fit their narrow myopic world view, the limiting of women's rights, etc, etc and they will do anything to see that happen, again much like mid 20ct Germany did.A country where lies are truth and truth is lies.
The US and the world teeters on the edge......
There is a just broadcast, deeply disturbing and chilling panorma exposition on why Trump has a second chance,

That was about as scary as I expected.
I deliberately allow Facebook to serve me content from the trumpeters, and they are a crazed bunch.

I spent some time watching interviews with Trump supporters going into his rallies, crazed doesn't begin to describe these blinkered and mad people.
It is frightening what these people think and the bile they spew.

Essentially, it’s no different from the stuff that the fighting right, and the fellow-travelling right come out with in this country, and they pick up a lot of it from the USA ……… one of the several reasons why the UK ought to be praying for Trump to somehow magically disappear is that under his warped guidance the USA acts as a sort of festering pit of anti-democracy that then infects us too.

I've just watched
Look North. There was a vox pop filmed in Boston, my nearest town, several of the interviewees expressed approval of Trump. Tice, of ReformUK is our MP.

I'm not surprised in the least,14years of extreme rightwing nutters in power, you'd think they'd have had enough........

This close to election day, and with a lot of votes already cast, I have a really bad feeling about this. I will be surprised and delighted if Kamala wins it, but I fear that Donald will nick it by a fine margin. I may need some form of medication to see me through the next few years. Maybe an induced coma...

Given the immediately above few posts and your stance on EU/Brexit issues I am somewhat surprised you are so anti Trump.
For he expounds much of that Brexit rhetoric.

Harris wins. I was a little nervous a couple of weeks ago as the momentum seemed to have shifted with Harris rather passive, but Trump has been thrashing around these last few days, and has already started the 'steal' rhetoric. Harris's attacks have hit home, and Trump has completely ignored his campaign team on messaging. Many moderate Republican Loyalists will either stay home or switch (and he won't get out enough of the votes he really needs from young men). It's clear women have voted in droves, and voted early, and they will clinch it for Kamala.
Colours continue to be firmly pinned to the mast

If Trump "wins", it will be by nefarious means. Another Trump lie.
If Harris wins, it will be because the women of the US have come out and voted for their own self interest, against an adjudicated rapist.
"Sisters are doing it for themselves".

They have many failings as politicians and leaders, but we have not had "
extreme rightwing nutters in power". Surely looking at Trump should tell you what that
actually looks like?
