This topic has been done to death on a previous thread. Please if you must post a subject check that it hasn't been done in the recent past or things will get very boring and stale and the forum will slowly wither and die.

If you don't want to read the posts then don't bother.
Someone who is new to the forum might not know that the subject has been broached before so it might be more helpful to point them in the direction of it.

I don't use any panniers. The thought of humping panniers,tents,bar bags,kitchen sinks,wet weather gear, spare socks etc etc around on a bike is absolutely anathema to me. I don't tour. The only thing to carry on a bike is you, and the lighter and faster that bike is, the more fun you'll have. Touring? Ugh!
