Hase Kettwiesel recumbent trike £250

Hase Kettiesel recumbent trike

It's an old V brake model but it is in good condition with 9 speed derailleur gearing, Marathon tyres.

Very adaptable for different size riders with its adjustable boom and lengthening or shortening of chain as needed.

My Mum bought this earlier in the year to see if a trike would work for her (following a hip replacement and ongoing balance issues). She's really enjoyed being able to cycle again, so much so that she's now got an an ICE trike with STEPS e-assist.

The bike is in Crieff, Perthshire. It's not going to be practical to post, but I could deliver within about 50 miles.

Note the saddle bag and special foot retention pedals shown in some photos are not included, it will come with the ordinary pedals with toe clips.

£400

NOW £250

Does this model fold? If not what is minimum overall length to see if it fits in my car? I could travel on a day trip from Oban but there are very strict time limits for ferries so meeting somewhere possible? Pm me your email and could discuss further but timing has to be flexible.

Is that a 1 wheel drive, direct from the derailleur - bit hard to see from the pics.
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Hi Bob,

Yes it's just one wheel drive and doesn't have a differential.

I wish I lived in a different house! I live in a mud terrace and my shed/ storage is at the rear. If only I could get this through!
Never mind I’m certain someone will get a nice deal here.

It's 188cm long, which can be reduced by 35cm to 153cm by removing front wheel and turning fork. It's 84cm wide. I'm not sure of the weight, my guestimate would be 35-40lbs but I'll check with the bathroom scales.

My guestimate was slightly under. It’s 18.5 kg.
