Got a quote on Monday and approval from Aviva for the repair yesterday afternoon. £250 excess unfortunately.

About 6 to 7 degrees and not too breezy so got for my first post omicron ride. (Day 11 ) Maybe it's just psychological but I feel better than I've done for a long time. Plenty of sleep might be the reason.

A bit dangerous for a ride atm -- very windy. Good thing is it's blowing in the opposite direction straightening up the bend in the net supports of the trampoline

+ 1. Windy, but superb blue skies & sun. Full ride finished early; so after an hour back home, back out for another two hours!)

(Nb. It's bizarre! Had the first, heavy ground ice of this winter, just two days ago. And the first heavy snow on the hills last week. But by yesterday, it felt like the first spring day, warm enough to work on the bike outdoors)

Another bright and sunny day. Once I get up on the roof and readjust a few tiles knocked about in the storm, I'll be off for a nice ride to the local cafe, about 45 miles out and back. They do steak and ale pies on a Tuesday...

At 2 bottles a week that wont make much difference. But.....turning off the gas central heating yesterday probably will.

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......

Steak pie ordered, just waiting on the ale to arrive. Warm enough almost to sit outside.

What I find amusing, is that this Tea Shop listing, has "How's your weather?" followed by "Can the Met be trusted?"

Met Office? :D
Rubbish locally and untrustworthy too.
