My local pet shop has a flourescent star in the window advertising fat balls.

Of course I stood next to it and took a selfie.

Not so far off, they were yellow, which eventually faded to white. A red flag was deployed to stop road traffic crossing an active runway where that was a problem

The point of a windsock is for its orientation to be easily visible to the pilot of a plane coming in to land.

Tinged with the sadness that the cable tie on the pole hasn't been trimmed.

..ah staffing shortages, what can you do, all the cable-tie engineering jobs have been de-skilled ? Bring back apprenticeships !
Multiple laugh out loud moments on most recent episode of the Jimmy Kimmel show (skewering T...p five nights a week), if you watch, just make sure you aren't eating or drinking or your keyboard will never be the same; ( video sixteen minutes in length). As they might say over the pond - awesome (UK translation.. pretty good :) ).

I hear that Melania Trump's new hagiography was shown as an in flight movie, but most of the audience walked out.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

The sticker I saw in the back of a chimney sweep’s vehicle:
No Victorian children left in this van overnight
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

Only in Skem' ; on the path to the rear of my house, a 15 inch Rainbow Trout, there's a story there somewhere, weird - even the local cats have turned up their noses at it !
