Does anyone know if Optimus, Primus, MSR et. al pressurised fuel bottles are specific to each brand or are they interchangeable?

I've used an MSR bottle with a Primus multi fuel stove with no problems.

I'm pretty sure if use any suitable bottle eg Primus, MSR etc they'll all be fine. I would think that the cheap bottles wouldn't be safe

Agree. The pressurised ones usually have a recessed bottom (like a wine bottle) while the non-pressure sort have a flat base. The thread seems universal.

Usually is the word. I had one that didn't match the rest. Can't remember what or when. Worth
check in my opinion.
