Castelli sizing ?

Post by chris_suffolk »

Hope somebody can help. Have tried forum search, but to no avail thus far.

I'm after a new pair of gloves (fingerless for the summer) and wondering how Castelli sizing works out. I know lots of their clothing is on the small size, but for gloves they give measurements based on the circumference of my hand. Does anybody know if these can be trusted, or do I just go up a size? Can't get to a shop with all the current restrictions, so going to have to rely on buying online. I'm normally a Large sometimes XL, but Castelli reckons I'm a Med for their gloves.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thnx

Always comes up small, ordered a pair of xl bibshorts, had to send them back and order xxl, fitted lovely. Haven't worn mitts since I rode a '100' a few years back. Who wants white hands anyway?

Yes, I know their clothing comes up small, but their gloves have explicit sizing, and that's what I'm trying to see whether it's accurate or not.

Thanks

You'll have to order a couple of pairs then to see which fits best!

Yes, unless somebody has bought a pair, and can comment on the size vs others they have bought. That's what I was hoping for. Maybe they are just not a brand that sells well (at least to folk on here).

I would say slightly smaller than other brands I have tried.

Hi Steve,

Could you let me know the circumference of your hand, all the way round where you've got the tape. That's the measurement that the company uses.

Thanks
